At Nila, we have a zero-tolerance policy for any content or behavior that exploits, abuses, or endangers children. We are strictly committed to keeping our platform safe and complying with global child safety laws. Nila is a dating platform designed exclusively for adults aged 18 and over.

1. Prohibited Content & Behavior

We strictly prohibit the creation, uploading, or distribution of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) and Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE). This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Child grooming or any attempt to contact, solicit, or exploit minors.
  • Sexualization of minors in profiles, messages, photos, or any other content.
  • Sextortion or coercion involving minors.
  • Any content that depicts, promotes, or facilitates the abuse or exploitation of children.

Users must be at least 18 years of age to create an account on Nila. Accounts found to belong to minors, or used to target minors, will be removed immediately.

2. Enforcement & Content Removal

We utilize rigorous profile verification, automated safety systems, manual moderation, and user reports to monitor content and behavior on our platform. Upon obtaining knowledge of any CSAM or CSAE violations, we will take immediate action to remove the content and permanently ban the offending user.

3. Legal Compliance & Reporting

We comply with all applicable child protection laws, including laws governing the protection of children in India and other jurisdictions where our users are located. Confirmed cases of CSAM will be reported immediately to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or relevant regional law enforcement authorities.

4. In-App Reporting Mechanism

Users can report suspicious behavior or policy violations directly inside the Nila app using the "Report" option available on user profiles and in conversations. Reports are reviewed by our safety team, and appropriate action is taken without delay.
